Complete Car Care’s customer wins the top prize in the United Garage Services Summer Giveaway

This summer United Garage Services gave away some fantastic prizes in their national summer giveaway. The top prize was a tech bundle, including a Microsoft Surface Pro, Xbox Ones S and a Sonos One Speaker with Alexa. Runner-up prizes included Beats Headphones, £100 Ticketmaster Gift Cards and Amazon Echo Dots. Click here to view all the competition winners.

The competition was open to UK motorists who visited a United Garage Services garage between 1st May and 7th July 2019 for a service, MOT or repair. All they had to do once the work was completed on their car was enter the competition on the United Garage Services website.

Chris Gold was picked from over 1,200 entries to win the tech bundle after visiting Complete Car Care in Peterborough and entering the competition online.

Phil Weller, Garage Network Manager for United Garage Services was at the garage to hand over the tech bundle to Chris, he said “It’s very pleasing to see this particular garage get the winner of the top prize. Garage owners Luke and Faye Allen take full advantage of the garage programme and are very pro-active; it is always nice to see hard work pay off.”

Also there to congratulate Chris was Luke Allen owner of Complete Car Care in Peterborough and Ian Batty from Pro-Parts (Peterborough), Complete Car Care’s UAN parts distributor. Luke had this to say about the promotion, “To have one of our customers win the top prize in this year’s summer giveaway is fantastic and if I’m honest a complete shock. Probably like some of our customers, it’s fair to say we were dubious of the chances of someone winning, so to have our customer Chris win the top prize really was a genuine surprise. We are still a relatively new business, and this gives us a great message to send out to customers, at the garage and on social media. To have this kind of positive publicity is invaluable.”

Chris was delighted with his prizes, he said “It was such a surprise to get the phone call from Phil, which, if I’m honest, I thought was a hoax call at first! I only entered the competition to support Luke at the garage and did not think for one second, I would win a prize, let alone the tech bundle. I am over the moon, a big thank you to both United Garage Services and Complete Car Care.”

The United Garage Services Winter Giveaway will run from 1st October to 30th November 2019, it will again be open any UK motorist visiting a United Garage Services garage for a service, MOT or repair, and all prizes will be delivered to the winners before Christmas.
